The Dutch minister for medical care has collapsed briefly during a debate in parliament on the coronavirus.
Bruno Bruins fell behind the speakers’ lectern while taking questions and was then helped up by fellow ministers.
He took a sip of water and was seen leaving the room unassisted.
“Thanks for all your support for just now,” Bruins later tweeted.
“I suffered from faintness from exhaustion and intensive weeks.
“Now things are going better again.
“I’m going home now to rest tonight so that I can get back to work tomorrow to fight the #coronacrisis as best I
