Coronavirus restrictions ease further in NSW, QR codes mandatory from today

More coronavirus restrictions are being eased in NSW from today, ahead Christmas and end of year celebrations.
Up to 500 people will be allowed at outdoor religious events, and as many as 3000 can attend a concert – subject to social distancing requirements.
NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard made the announcement today, on the 16th consecutive day without community transmission in the state.

“As of today, they will be an increased capacity for outdoor religious services, so we’ve got up to 500 people outdoors but provided the audience is seated,” Mr Hazzard said.
“So, if there is one person per two square metres is applicable if they are at a seat, or one person per four square metres if they are out on a rug, sitting in a group.”
