Cardi B launches Balenciaga campaign in a billboard in Paris’ Louvre

Cardi B certainly knows how to make a huge fashion statement with a billboard in one of Paris’ most famous landmarks.

The “WAP” rapper may still be riding high from making Hot 100 history, despite having been knocked from Billboard’s top spot this week by BTS’s latest release. B

ut she has a new win to celebrate, as she was just revealed to be the new face of Balenciaga via a billboard of a different sort—in Paris.

Two years after she declared her love for those Balenciaga boots “that look like socks” in her smash hit “I Like It,” Cardi B has scored her very own campaign for the fashion brand.

This marks the Grammy winner’s first high-fashion campaign.

The “WAP” hitmaker, 27, shared a peek at her new ad on Instagram Tuesday, a blown-up version of which is currently hanging outside the Louvre in Paris.

“Ya lookin at the face of a @Balenciaga campaign!” Cardi captioned her  IG post. “I remember how I felt seeing myself on a billboard in NYC Times Square but PARIS! Wish I was there to see it in person!”

In the image, Cardi sports a glossy black bob and wears a slinky Balenciaga evening gown while lounging on the grass, surrounded by children’s toys (courtesy of her 2-year-old daughter Kulture, perhaps?) along with one of the label’s new Neo Classic bags.
