Global Pop Group Now United stages livestream concert from the Louvre Abu Dhabi

International pop group Now United staged a successful online show streamed from the Louvre in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.

The digital gig took place on July 1 and was the band’s first live appearance since their 2019 Dreams Come True tour in Brazil.

“As Now United’s popularity continues to grow in all regions of the world, we felt this was the perfect moment to stage our first virtual performance,” Now United’s founder Simon Fuller explained.

“In recent months we have all fallen in love with Abu Dhabi and made it our second home. It is the perfect safe environment for us to create content and be together. The culmination of this wonderful partnership is our performance at the incredible and stunning Louvre Abu Dhabi. It is without doubt one of the most iconic structures I have ever seen. I cannot wait to share our new show with our millions of passionate and dedicated fans around the world,” Fuller said.

The livestream show will feature the performance debuts of the band’s new members from Australia, Ivory Coast, Lebanon and Spain.

Lebanese singer Nour Ardakani said she was excited to make her live debut with the group.

“Having my first Now United performance in Louvre Abu Dhabi is going to be fantastic,” she said. “It’s such an inspiring location and totally reflects what Now United’s all about. We are so excited to perform here.”

Now United’s dance captain Josh Beauchamp added: “We can’t wait to get back on stage and perform for our amazing fans. We have new songs and new group members, so this show is going to something special for us.”

Savannah Clarke from Sydney is Australia’s representative in the global pop group. She shares to be honoured in representing her country in the multi-nationality group. “To represent my own country is such an honour because I love my country so much”, Clarke said.

After joining Now United, Clarke’s popularity has further increased internationally bagging  the 2021 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards for the Aussie/Kiwi Legend of the year.

“I am so glad that I get to represent Australia, and involve my culture in the group. I’m so happy and grateful to be able to be representing my country.”

#NowLove – Live From Abu Dhabi featured 16 of the Group’s biggest hits and was screened live on the group’s YouTube channel.

Earlier this year Now United teamed with KitKat to release a limited edition bar and new music.*
