A man has been charged after he allegedly posed as a police officer before raping two women in their Adelaide homes.
Police allege the man gained access to the first victim’s home about 8:30pm on Friday after purporting to be an officer.
He then allegedly sexually assaulted and stole cash from her home.
Two hours later, police allege the same man attended another house in the city and again posed as an officer before sexually assaulting the woman and stealing cash.
The 31-year-old from the northern suburbs was charged on Saturday with two counts of rape, two counts of aggravated robbery and two counts of impersonating a police officer.
He has been refused bail and will face Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
